Department head word
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds for His graces, which are uncountable, and from His grace, that you may favour us with knowledge of much of His creation, and of them He who profited with knowledge, and of them he who neglected it, and he who is concerned with the pleasures of this world, only for the knowledge to be forgotten.
A political department is one of the main scientific divisions, within the Faculty of Law and Political Science. Students in this department study 42 specialist and general subjects, which are crucial for completing the requirements for a Bachelor’s degree in political science.
Since we assumed the presidency of the department, we have sought to fulfil what our former colleagues set out to achieve in terms of educational and administrative processes. Therefore, we have endeavoured to follow up on all administrative procedures and their units to participate in all the scientific forums run by the university and other universities, whether scientific conferences, workshops, dialogues, seminars or panel discussions concerning the research process, in terms of the dissemination of research in well-established and well-known scientific fields. Simultaneously, we have sought to develop courses fromvarying theoretical and scientific standpoints.
Ultimately, by applying a modern and operational plan of action, the department and college will seek to contribute to the advancement of students, colleges and universities, in order to achieve a good degree of local and global classification according to scientific and administrative quality applications.
